About the resort:
Pearly Shells is situated in Scottburgh about 300m walking distance from the main beach, which is accessed by crossing George Crookes Street and walking through a small park. Alternatively one may drive down to the beach where there is ample parking. There is a leisure room at the braai and pool area. It is equipt with table tennis, snooker table and games. ideal for braais where families and friends can relax together.

Unit Facilities:
All units have a sea view from the main bedroom and open balcony and there is an attractive pool and braai area.

Nearby attractions:
The T.C. Robertson Nature Reserve, Croc World, George Crookes Game Reserve, The Aliwal Adventure, an excellent shell shop and art studio. A soap box Derby is held in July and the sardine run takes place in June/July. A worthwhile flea market in town every Saturday. There is a well run library, good restaurants and shops in and around Scottburgh. For sport lovers every form of sport from scuba diving along the Aliwal Shoal to deep sea, rock and surf fishing, tennis, squash, surfing and swimming. There are bowling greens at Umkomaas, Scottburgh and Umdoni. Four world class golf courses offer keen golf players a wonderful chance to test their skills. Best of all, Scottburgh has a lovely lawned main beach with life savers, shark nets and all the amenities required to enjoy a great seaside holiday.

From King Shaka International Airport:
Take the N2 South highway and take the Scottburgh off ramp. At the stop street turn left and continue on this road to a T-junction. Turn right into Old Main Road. Follow the road over a bridge (our signboard is high up to the left hand side) and then turn left into George Crooks Street. This road will take you past the front of the resort. Go around the block to reach the entrance which is in the Williamson Street Cul de Sac.
